The wartime images were passed to me by Drea
Harris of Atlanta Georgia and came from her Grandfatherís foot locker. He was a
Lt Col in the US Army and was the Officer in charge of the 347th Station
Hospital, the US Army medical unit that ran the hospital. Sadly he became ill
whilst CO and actually died in Marlborough. His temporary grave at the US
Military†Cemetery in Madingly, Cambs is shown.
